$30 Million Dollar Ebay Class Action Settlement and my 4 Cents Worth

Last week I got a check in the mail.  How exciting--I mean with the holidays coming up and all.  I eagerly tore open the envelope.

This is my portion of the eBay Motors Class Action Lawsuit that was originally filed July 27, 2010.  

The plaintiffs alleged that eBay charged incorrect Final Value Fees for selling items in the vehicle-related parts and accessories categories on eBay Motors (“Parts and Accessories”) between April 21, 2005 and August 26, 2009. 

On December 20, 2010, a judge agreed and awarded a settlement of $30 Million Dollars. 

Out of $30 Million Dollars....I got 4 cents.  Better than 2 cents.
